Proposed $1.4 billion deal for EverBank Stadium renovations is in City Council's hands
A proposed stadium deal that would stand as Jacksonville's biggest investment ever in being an NFL city got its first public airing Tuesday when Mayor Donna Deegan and Jaguars President Mark Lamping gave City Council members highlights of the agreement. The city would pay $775 million of the $1.4 billion of work done at the stadium, or 55% of the tab.
