Former Patriots RB takes a job with the Houston Texans
Former New England Patriots running back Shane Vereen has found his way back into the NFL, but he won't be catching passes out of the backfield anymore. According to KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, Vereen has accepted a role in the Houston Texans' front office as a player personnel assistant. Vereen, 35, was the Patriots' second-round pick out of California back in 2011.
