UWL's Mike Bertoia receives tryout invite with Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay packers have built up quite the rookie roster with an 11 player draft class along with signing 8 undrafted rookies, but there are still some spots on the 90 man roster available. Bertoia started 46 consecutive games for the Eagles, and now the 6 foot 3 inch offensive lineman is trying to earn a spot on the packers 90 man roster. Bertoia will head to Green Bay for rookie minicamp set for May 3rd-6th. No spot is given in the national football league, but Bertoia has been waiting for this moment all offseason, and now he's ready to prove himself to the packers.

Expert Commentary
This is a very safe pick for the Packers. Morgan needs to develop some strength as he enters the NFL, but should have the footwork and skill to at least be a quality pass blocker. It just feels like there might have been more juice to squeeze here with some of the defensive players still on the board.

Expert Commentary
The Packers felt like they needed a linebacker and they got one in Cooper. He’s very fast and has some coverage ability, but his play in the box leaves some room for growth. Cooper might be a lower floor player as far as NFL responsibilities are concerned, but he has the speed to be a playmaker early on.

This is a great get for the Packers. Bullard might not be the most dynamic athlete in the draft, but the former Bulldog is a playmaker all over the field and has a chance to be a long-term starter in the NFL. Bullard and Xavier McKinney are a versatile pair of safeties to put on the field.
