Lions draft pick shares touching story of promise he kept with teacher

Every single NFL Draft pick has at least one incredible story to tell about their past and Detroit Lions 2024 NFL Draft pick and cornerback, Ennis Rakestraw Jr., is no different. The Missouri product recently shared on social media a letter his younger self wrote to his fourth grade teacher, who clearly had a big impact on him when he was younger. In the letter, the younger Rakestraw told his teacher how much he meant to him and that he would reach out to him after he made his dream of becoming a professional football player true — and Rakestraw kept his promise.
