The Atlanta Falcons are in a pivotal year where they can't afford many missteps. As if that wasn't enough, now the Falcons have this succession plan that puts even more pressure on having success as soon as possible. Among that pressure, we find five names in particular that are really feeling the heat because Atlanta's success in 2024 falls on their shoulders. The Falcons had an issue last season with the WR2 position and struggled to get production out of that.

First F of the day! What is going on in Atlanta? This pick makes absolutely no sense. The Falcons signed Kirk Cousins and are now drafting a six-year college starter to sit behind him for two years? What sense does that make? Penix isn't the cleanest prospect and he has injury concerns. We'll find out what this looks like when he sees the field in 2026 or 2027.

Orhorhoro has some nice traits where he’ll have the chance to grow and develop into a nice, disruptive player, but it’s a little interesting that the Falcons felt like they needed to trade up for him. Perhaps their bet on his upside works, but it just didn’t seem like they needed to give up draft capital to pick him right outside the first round.
