Now that Brett Favre's(notes) NFL playing career is really over, the Minnesota Vikings are in need of an aging quarterback to put on their roster. According to two sources to the Washington Post, the Vikes are one of the teams interested in 34-year-old quarterback Donovan McNabb(notes).
Since teams know that the Redskins don't want McNabb around, the Post points out, they aren't planning to offer much for him when the lockout ends. And since it is expected that McNabb will need to rework his contract with a new team, the Redskins will have to work with the QB as to where he'll end up, the paper notes.
It is believed that McNabb would be willing to give back the $3.5 million signing bonus he received last fall in exchange for his release, the Post reports.
