Johnson ran for 132 yards and two touchdowns, and he caught nine passes for 100 more and the Tennessee Titans beat the Buffalo Bills 41-17 Sunday for their third straight victory. Advice: Johnson walked into his post-game news conference carrying the Terrell Owens jersey the receiver had promised the running back if the Titans beat Buffalo. Johnson's owners, meanwhile, continue to reap the rewards of drafting the super-fast running back, who has blossomed into perhaps the best player in all of fantasy football and even prompted speculation of a bid for a 2,000-yard season. |

RB Chris Johnson's extra workload during the Titans' three-game winning streak is not a concern for coach Jeff Fisher. Johnson had just 95 carries through the first six games of the season, all losses, but during the team's current three-game winning streak, has racked up 75 rushing attempts, not counting the pass receptions he has gotten (Johnson had nine catches for 100 yards on Sunday).
"No, I think he's getting stronger. I think he's better now than he was to start the season. Now whether that was the normal wear and tear of training camp, I don't know," Fisher said. "He's running the ball as good as he ever has. He's not showing any signs of wear down. He's staying healthy. Even though it appears he's taking a big hit, his cleats are out of the ground and he's just bouncing right back up and he's protecting the football." |

Johnson gained 132 yards on the ground and scored twice. He also caught nine passes for an additional 100 yards. Recommendation: Johnson took advantage of the Bills' poor run defense in a big win Sunday. He continues to excel as the clear No. 1 back on the Titans and was the first running back in the NFL to exceed the 1,000 yard mark. Sunday was his third game in a row with two rushing touchdowns. |
