Recommendation: If Boldin leaves, Breaston would step into a starting wide receiver role, and the Cardinals wouldn't want to overload him with special teams duties. We think that a Boldin trade is less likely now that the Cardinals have already lost one potent offensive weapon this offseason, due to the retirement of starting quarterback Kurt Warner. Breaston would be a much more desirable receiver if Boldin is traded. He hasn't done very much as a punt returner over the last two seasons; he averaged 6.9 yards on 71 returns and didn't score any special teams touchdowns.
