RB Fred Jackson's 35 rushing yards last week moved him into 16th place on the team's career list with 1,399 yards. He passed Darick Holmes and is now 180 behind Terry Miller. With Marshawn Lynch nursing a sore shoulder, Jackson's workload could increase this week at home against Miami. |

The Bills plan to continue running the Wildcat offense -- where Jackson is the primary ball handler -- after having some success with it last week, BuffaloBills.com reports. Jackson threw a touchdown pass to Lee Evans in the loss. Recommendation: It'll be interesting to see if interim coach Perry Fewell uses Jackson more than Dick Jauron had been, as Marshawn Lynch continues to get a bigger share of the carries. Jackson is one of the league's better No. 2 backs because he's in a timeshare and gets on the field in return situations and Wildcat formations, but his value is still nowhere near what it was when Lynch was on suspension. |

Jackson had 48 yards on eight carries and also threw for a touchdown in the Bills' 41-17 loss to Tennessee on Sunday. Advice: While he has limited value as a running back splitting carries for a woeful offense, perhaps Buffalo should try Jackson at quarterback considering that Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick continue to struggle. |
