RB Joseph Addai likes to joke with QB Peyton Manning about his passing skills. After all, Addai was an all-state quarterback while a senior at a Houston-area high school. He threw a 22-yard halfback pass for a touchdown against the 49ers. It's the third time that the play had been called since Addai has been with the Colts but only the first time that it's actually worked in a real game situation. |

Addai threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Wayne early in the final quarter to give Indianapolis an 18-14 win over San Francisco on Sunday. Advice: It was Addai's first TD pass as a pro and the first by a Colts non-quarterback since Ken Dilger threw one in 2001. Addai, though, was held to 62 yards on 20 carries. |

Addai had 20 carries for 62 yards and had two receptions for four yards in Sunday's win over the 49ers. He also threw a 22-yard touchdown pass on a halfback option. Recommendation: Adddai had his most carries of the season with Donald Brown out with a shoulder injury, and had all but one of Indy's rushing attempts. It sounds like Brown could be out another week or two, so he may get another heavy workload next week against Houston. |
