Santonio Holmes: News and Notes
- Jun 16 Holmes revealed details of the Lisfranc foot injury that he suffered last season, ESPN New York reports.
Recommendation: The ailment was Grade 4, or the most severe variety, and included a muscle tear and joint separation in his mid-foot. In a subsequent procedure, Holmes had screws removed, although two will permanently remain in his left foot. While he is targeting a return for the start of training camp, the fact that he has yet to run or cut clearly puts that timetable in danger.
