Coach Marvin Lewis said Wednesday that Benson (hip) has a good chance to play this Sunday against the Browns, the Bengals' official site reports. "He’ll be listed as not practicing with the team, but he’ll assume the Cedric Wednesday type of work," said Lewis. Recommendation: Lewis put Benson in the "very close" category, which suggests that he should be able to give it a go this weekend, barring a setback. |

RB Cedric Benson remains day-to-day with a hip flexor injury, but did get in limited work Wednesday and has a chance to play Sunday. In two games against the Browns he has 245 yards on 56 carries. |
