Joanna Gaines Just Shared Photos of the One Room at Her Farmhouse You've Never Seen Before

From Country Living

While you might think Chip and Joanna Gaines were already living in a Pinterest-perfect home, it turns out even these HGTV pros have to be crafty to make the most out of their space. After moving into their farmhouse, they realized there wasn't a designated room for laundry. So they converted the closet underneath their stairway into laundry room.

But recently, realizing they needed a better solution for their six-person family, Chip and Joanna decided to add a small addition off of their dining room to act as their laundry/mudroom-and not surprisingly, it's full of kick-your-boots off rustic style and farmhouse flair. There's a whole lot of shiplap and chalkboard signs, so basically, everything we'd expect from our favorite design guru.

If you're looking to tackle a renovation of your own, Joanna says to start with the room that's currently the least-inspiring in your home. "Create inspiration in spaces where you need it the most-for me it's wherever there's laundry," she explained on Instagram.

Take a look at the new space:

Does this super market sign look familiar? At one point, Joanna kept it in the farmhouse's kitchen!

We'll be honest: We've never wanted to do laundry more.
