Former Montana State LB Jody Owens brings 'wealth of knowledge' as new safeties coach

The Montana State linebackers group immediately clocked Jody Owens as a player to watch when he came to Bozeman in fall 2008. “He was extremely coachable and just picked up on what we were doing a lot faster than most young men,” said Bobby Daly, a senior linebacker when Owens was a freshman. Daly and his teammates were proven right over the next four years, as Owens became a two-time All-American and a Big Sky Conference Defensive MVP.
