A season that began with such promise for Fresno State is quickly unraveling. The Bulldogs dropped a tough game to Wisconsin earlier in the year, likely ending their hopes for a Bowl Championship Series berth.
The loss was understandable. But last week's debacle against Hawaii—an ugly six-turnover affair for the Bulldogs—is not as easy to explain away. It puts a damper on Fresno State's chances to win its first outright WAC title under Pat Hill.
