José Ramírez had a pair of two-run singles and reached base five times as the Cleveland Guardians beat Texas 7-0 on Monday night and sent the Rangers to their first four-game losing streak of the season. Five Cleveland pitchers combined for the four-hit shutout of the defending World Series champions. Ramírez drove in two runs with singles in the eighth and ninth innings.

Australian court jails former military lawyer for sharing secret documents with journalists
An Australian court has sentenced a former military lawyer to five years and eight months in jail for sharing with journalists classified military documents about the special forces actions in Afghanistan, media reported on Tuesday. David McBride pleaded guilty to three charges, including theft and sharing more than 200 documents classified as secret, with members of the media, the Australian Broadcasting Corp (ABC) reported. Reuters could not immediately reach McBride for comment.
