    Amazon Web Services Undergoes Leadership Change, Matt Garman to Take Over as CEO

    Amazon.Com, Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) stock is trading lower amid reports of leadership change in its cloud unit Amazon Web Services (AWS). Matt Garman will succeed Amazon Web Services CEO Adam Selipsky, effective June 3, Bloomberg reports. Garman is the Amazon cloud unit's leading sales and marketing executive. Selipsky led AWS since 2021. The cloud unit accounts for most of Amazon's profit. In April, AWS initiated global job cuts involving several hundred positions in Sales, Marketing, Global Services

    Basketball broadcaster Doug Gottlieb moves into coaching ranks as he takes over Green Bay's program

    Longtime basketball radio analyst Doug Gottlieb will make his college head coaching debut next season at Green Bay. Green Bay announced Tuesday that Gottlieb will take over for Sundance Wicks, who left the Phoenix after one year to take over Wyoming’s program. Green Bay went 18-14 in Wicks’ lone season after posting a 3-29 record the year before his arrival.

    Veteran DEA agent sentenced to 3 years for bribing former colleague to leak intelligence

    A former U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration supervisor was sentenced Tuesday to three years in prison for bribing a longtime colleague to leak DEA intelligence to Miami defense lawyers seeking to profit off the timing of indictments and other sensitive information about drug investigations. A federal jury last year convicted Manny Recio of bribery and honest-services wire fraud amid a flurry of misconduct cases involving DEA agents accused of corruption and other federal crimes. Recio's former colleague, John Costanzo Jr., was sentenced last month to four years behind bars for orchestrating the $100,000 bribery scheme.
