The New Orleans Pelicans will open their four-game preseason schedule with a Monday matinee game against the Orlando Magic. The Pelicans will face the Magic at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in their only preseason game at Smoothie King Center. The New Orleans Saints are also in action Oct. 7; the Saints are slated to face the Kansas City Chiefs in a Monday Night Football road game. The Pelicans' preseason schedule is exclusively against teams based in Florida and Texas.
