Free agent forward Rob Kurz(notes) has an invite to the Cleveland Cavaliers training camp but is supposedly thinking that he'd rather head over to the Denver Nuggets instead, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
It's seemed that nobody has turned down the Cavs this off-season but the 6'9" former Fighting Irishman who had a 40 percent shooting percentage from three-point range during his rookie season last year with the Golden State Warriors could do just that.
That three-point ability is apparently what interests the Cavaliers since they want players who will be able to draw defensive pressure out to the three-point line and away from Shaquille O'Neal(notes) and LeBron James(notes) working closer to the basket.
It's looking like the Cavs will have to keep looking for another big man with such an ability.

I wish the Warriors had room to keep a good shooting, high BB IQ, player like Rob.
He is exactly tghe type of guy you need coming in off of the end of the bench.
Just for you cocky Cavs fans, I hope he does go to Denver., and you get stuck with your boy..........John Insner (???)
