Andre Iguodala(notes) has been in the Philadelphia 76ers organization since he was drafted ninth overall in 2004, when Dick Vitale told the viewing audience on ESPN that the folks in Philly had made a mistake: "He's not going to be able to play."

Well, Iguodala has done all right, making the 2005 All-Rookie Team and being asked to be part of this summer's national-team workouts.

The Los Angeles Clippers must think he's OK, too, since NBA.com is reporting that they asked the Sixers about the 6-6, 207-pounder.

"There was no indication that Los Angeles has made or will make an offer," the site adds.

Iguodala averaged 17.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists for the Sixers last year.
