Shumpert played 45 games during the regular season for the Knicks and averaged 6.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 three-pointers and 1.0 steal a game. He played all 12 playoff games as well and averaged 9.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.1 steals a game.
Recommendation: Shumpert suffered a torn ACL during the playoffs last year and wasn't himself even when he did return this season. He is under contract with the Knicks next season and they also have a team option on Shumpert for the 2014-15 season. Shumpert could improve his fantasy value next season given a full summer to heal and strengthen his knee.

Shumpert will start Tuesday night at Indiana despite having a sore, swollen left knee.
Advice: Coach Mike Woodson told reporters before the game that Shumpert was told there was no structural damage to the knee - the same one that required surgery last May after he tore a ligament. The scare came Saturday night when Shumpert landed in awkward twisting motion in an 82-71 Game 3 loss to the Pacers.
