Recommendation: Stiemsma's role on the team was to act as a backup to an injury-prone Nikola Pekovic. However, he was not able to consistently act as a productive player for the Wolves. He often got in foul trouble, which lowered his productivity quite a bit. Stiemsma is not guaranteed a contract for the 2013-14 season. If the Wolves are looking to revamp their roster and save salary cap space so that they can sign a star player with their lottery pick or in free agency, do not expect them to re-sign Stiemsma.
