Pekovic (ankle) underwent a successful surgery Tuesday, to remove bone spurs from his right ankle, Jerry Zgoda of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Recommendation: Getting this procedure out of the way early in the offseason will give Pekovic plenty of time to recover and barring any unrelated injuries he will be ready to play the 2012-13 season. Operating healthy in Kevin Love's shadow should give Pek some legit fantasy value next season.

Advice: Pekovic's sore ankle kept him out of eight games towards the end of the season. Dr. Martin O'Malley performed the surgery and Pekovic is expected to make a full recovery and be ready in time for training camp.
