Brewer was a special surprise for the Nuggets in 2011-2012 as he provided solid defense off the bench for much of the year along with 8.9 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, and a steal and block apiece per game.
Recommendation: Brewer seemed like just a "throw-in" in the Carmelo Anthony deal last year, but he became a consistent contributor during the year and was a catalyst in the club's first round near-upset of the Lakers. He's got one year and just $2.68MM left on his contract, so expect him back next year in the same defensive stopper role.
