The Dallas Mavericks have surprisingly gone through the Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder to find their way to the Western Conference Finals. Of course, the guy who has largely been their leader on this run is star guard Luka Doncic, and his strong play in the postseason so far has led to a relatively surprising change of heart from Dwight Howard. While Nikola Jokic recently won his third MVP award in the past four years, there was a serious case for Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to win the award.
The defending NBA Champions are now headed home for the offseason, while the Timberwolves will face off against the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. After the tough loss, NBA legend Dwight Howard sent out a post on X.
