Howard managed only eight points and 12 rebounds as the Magic lost 90-89 to Detroit to fall behind 3-1 in their Eastern Conference semifinal series. Advice: The Pistons held Howard in check all game, forcing several turnovers on Magic passes inside and largely preventing the All-Star from getting the ball near the rim. They double-teamed and banged him around but didn't commit many fouls on the 59 percent free throw shooter. Howard had only two fouls shots, making both. |

Howard had a big effort in Wednesday's Game 3 victory over Detroit, finishing with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and six blocked shots. Recommendation: Howard has been an absolute beast in the post-season. He is averaging 20.9 points, 16.1 rebounds, and 3.8 block shots per game in Orlando's eight post-season contests thus far. He will need to continue his string of strong efforts if Orlando hopes to knock the Pistons out of the playoffs. |
