Barnes averaged 7.8 points on 45 percent shooting to go with 5.5 rebounds per game in the 2012 season. He drifted in and out of the Lakers starting lineup, and averaged 22.9 minutes per game.
Recommendation: Barnes will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and while he played an important role for the Lakers, it was not an ideal situation for him from a fantasy perspective.

F Matt Barnes has struggled badly with his shot in the postseason, entering Game 4 against Oklahoma City on Saturday night at 28.6 percent from the field and 16.7 percent on 3-point shots. Instead of subbing youngster Devin Ebanks for him, Lakers coach Mike Brown stuck with Barnes again, and he air-balled a 3-pointer off a Kobe Bryant pass with 1:13 left in the third quarter. Barnes missed all three of his shots in the game.
