Bryan Woo nearing return to Mariners rotation

More of the same for Bryan Woo in his third rehab start for Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday night. Woo had been shut down during spring training with right elbow inflammation and opened the season on the injured list. The Mariners haven't announced when that could happen, and the team wants to see how Woo feels over the next couple days before finalizing plans to activate him. There hasn't been a need to rush Woo back because of how well rookie Emerson Hancock has pitched over the past few weeks.
