Pirates get Keiner Delgado in trade with Yankees

The Pittsburgh Pirates received a minor league infielder in a trade from the Yankees. Minor league infielder Keiner Delgado was traded from the Yankees to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday as the player to be named in the March 29 deal that brought pitcher JT Brubaker to New York. The 20-year-old Delgado signed with the Yankees for a $100,000 bonus in 2021 and hit .293 with eight homers, 31 RBIs and 36 stolen bases last season for the Florida Complex League Yankees.
