How Fast & Furious inspired former Athletics home run champ to become an auto mechanic

Former Oakland Athletics star Khris Davis was a monster power hitter during his time in the majors, but has since been out of MLB with his last season being in 2021. What he has done since will probably surprise a lot of Oakland fans as while he was hitting home runs like it was nobody's business, he is now on his way to become an auto mechanic, something that stemmed from watching the “Fast & Furious” movies in the franchise. Davis did an interview with USA Today's Bob Nightengale where he talked about his new found passion of repairing and fixing cars. It had that nostalgia feel to it because I really got into cars when I was like 13 and I saw Fast & Furious.
