The New York Yankees hope Colby White is their latest pitching success story. New York claimed the 25-year-old right-hander from the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday, sending him to Double-A in the process, the team announced. White was previously in Triple-A, where he continued a two-year trend of struggling to throw strikes. White was considered a closer-in-the-making before command issues arose following April 2022 Tommy John surgery.
