Field Level Media May 3, 2024, 01:51 AM Email Print Open Extended Reactions The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired bullpen depth Thursday, trading for Minnesota Twins right-handed reliever Matt Bowman in exchange for cash considerations. Bowman, 32, was 0-0 through 7 2/3 innings with six strikeouts and a 2.35 ERA in five games for the Twins this season. A 13th-round pick of the New York Mets in the 2012 draft, Bowman is 7-13 with a 4.06 ERA in 191 relief appearances with the St. Louis Cardinals (2016-18), Cincinnati Reds (2019), New York Yankees (2023) and Twins. The Diamondbacks also optioned left-hander Blake Walston to Triple-A Reno and transferred right-hander Merrill Kelly (right shoulder strain)
