Matusz will start Sunday's game against the Royals after Tuesday's dominant performance against the Red Sox, MASN Sports reports.
Recommendation: Matusz will start on normal rest as the Orioles take advantage of Thursday's off day. Tommy Hunter's next start will be pushed back to monday at the earliest. This is positive sign for Matusz. He started the season as Baltimore's fifth starter, but he is now more entrenched into the rotation than Hunter. Zach Britton should be about three weeks away from returning and if a decision was made today he would replace Hunter.

LHP Brian Matusz had his best start of the season, improving to 4-4 by pitching into the seventh inning. Matusz walked one and allowed just two hits while striking out nine. The lone run came on a solo homer. Matusz exited to a standing ovation.
