OF Milton Bradley remains a topic of conversation among Rays officials and a potential acquisition. The Rays have had talks with the Cubs about acquiring Bradley, whose career has been tainted by repeated controversies, in exchange for Pat Burrell, who had a disappointing 2009 season, in what would amount to a swap of bad contracts. But because Bradley is signed for 2011 as well, the deal seems likely to require complex negotiations. |
