• Yahoo! Fantasy Sports Software Engineer (Sunnyvale, CA)

  Yahoo! Sports is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for sports. If you are intrigued by the challenge of building out our Fantasy Sports Platform to handle the next generation of games while maintaining the reliability and speed that we are famous for, all while reaching the largest user base in the industry, then this job is for you!

  As an individual contributor you will design, code, and own large portions of the Fantasy Sports Infrastructure. In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities to implement new games and improve upon existing games. As part of our world class engineering team in Sports, you will interact with engineers and product managers across the company to collect requirements, define feature sets, and build scalable and reliable components.

  Recommended Qualifications:

  • A BS degree or higher, preferably in CS
  • Excellent object oriented development skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable experience in software design or building websites
  • Experience developing in unix/linux environments
