Next Match: at home to Torino, May 11 Livorno's hopes of topflight survival took a major blow after last weekend's 3-2 loss at Atalanta. To add to this, six Amaranto players have been handed bans after they were involved in verbal and physical exchanges with match officials and Atalanta players. The Leghorn side are currently bottom-of-the-table and five points from safety and host Torino on Sunday before travelling to Empoli in the last round. Last season the Amaranto were held to a 1-1 draw by Torino in the same fixture and know they cannot afford to settle for more of the same this time. |
