Jurgen Klopp confirms talks with new Liverpool boss Arne Slot

Jurgen Klopp confirmed he had spoken to Arne Slot, his replacement as Liverpool manager, during a farewell event to mark his nine years at Anfield. The German manager has become a hero in the red half of the city for his work managing the club, winning the Champions League and Premier League among other accolades. Now Slot is tasked with filling Klopp's big shoes from his official start date on June 1, and the former Borussia Dortmund boss revealed at the M&S Bank Arena he had talked to Slot about the task at Anfield.
