TUSCALOOSA — LSU football's biggest game of the regular season is here.

The No. 14 Tigers travel to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 8 Alabama on Saturday (6:45 p.m., CBS) in a showdown that could determine the SEC West champion.

Both teams head into this weekend's matchup after having their idle weeks last weekend. Alabama (7-1, 5-0 SEC) defeated Tennessee the last time it played two weeks ago, 34-20. LSU beat Army on the same weekend, 62-0.

The Tigers (6-2, 4-1 SEC) won last year's annual matchup in Tiger Stadium in overtime, 32-31. Quarterback Jayden Daniels connected with tight end Mason Taylor on the game-winning two-point conversion to seal the program-defining win.

11:14 - Running back Josh Williams bounces his run to the outside and scores the touchdown to give LSU the lead back, 28-21.
