Georgia football vs. Florida State score, updates, highlights from Bulldogs' Orange Bowl win

Georgia football delivered a late Christmas present to Bulldogs fans on Saturday, thumping No. 5 Florida State (13-1, 9-0 in ACC play) 63-3 at the Orange Bowl to cap off its 2023 college football season.

Georgia now holds the two largest margin of victories in NCAA bowl game history, including the national championship game last season when the Bulldogs took down TCU in a 65-7 victory. Similarly, Florida State never had a chance in this one, as a 35-point second quarter saw the Bulldogs run away on the scoreboard and never look back.

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, who will return next season, played the first half and finished with 203 yards and two passing touchdowns. Running backs Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards also added two rushing touchdowns apiece as the Bulldogs pummeled the Seminoles in every facet of the game, totaling 673 total yards.

The second half saw many Bulldogs backups get legitimate playing time to gain confidence heading into the offseason. Freshman Gunner Stockton took over for Beck and produced 96 passing yards, while freshman running back Roderick Robinson III had seven carries for 70 yards.
