The USWNT square off against New Zealand once again on Friday, as Vlatko Andonovski’s side look to start 2023 with back-to-back wins against the Football Ferns.

After their 4-0 defeat of New Zealand on Wednesday in Wellington, there are still plenty of questions swirling around the USWNT ahead of the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand this summer.

USWNT team news

It is likely to be a similar lineup from Vlatko Andonovski as he tries to build chemistry in this team but you would expect him to rotate in the likes of Kristie Mewis and start Trinity Rodman, Lynn Williams and Sofia Huerta.

The USWNT’s attack looked a lot slicker in the second half of their win in Wellington and getting crosses into the box for their plethora of talented forwards and attacking midfielders to finish is the main aim for the reigning World Cup champs.
