Zaven Collins released quickly after booking and more details from arrest
Linebacker Zaven Collins made news for the wrong reason at the start of the week, as he was arrested last weekend in Scottsdale for speeding and reckless driving. While some details came out as to when and where, we have a few more details.

A few more details on Zaven Collins' arrest:
– He was released at 11:19 a.m., just 37 mins after he was booked, per police records.
– His response after being told he was going 76 mph: “Nah, I was not going that fast.”

We know he was stopped at 10:04 a.m. near Chaparral and Scottsdale Roads. The whole process didn’t take long.
Weinfuss notes that he was booked at the station and released 37 minutes later at 11:19 a.m.
When he was told he was driving 76 mph, he said, “Nah, I wasn’t going that fast.” When advised the speed limit was only 35, he apologized.
This doesn’t appear to be something serious. While the charges can result in jail time, it would be a surprise if that were the case.
