Young Yankees fan has hilarious response to Manny Machado signing with Padres

The dreams of Manny Machado in pinstripes ended Tuesday, as the star free agent agreed to a 10-year, $300 million contract with the San Diego Padres.

Machado has been talked about as a “future Yankee” for a few years, and even though the team never expressed that much interest in signing him this offseason, there were still plenty of New York Yankees fans who wanted him in the Bronx next season and into the future.

This kid, however, was not one of them. Watch his incredible reaction to finding out that Machado had signed with the Padres, captured by SNY:

Anybody else think this kid has a future in New York sports radio? It’s like he’s little Mike Francesa. Or a happier version of the kid who cried when the Knicks drafted Kristaps Porzingis.

Let’s give it to Machado Kid — not wanting to have any players from the AL East on the Yankees is an admirable take if one aspires to be a True Yankee Fan. And being able to make the Tom Brady/Dolphins comparison off the top of the dome was pretty great too.

But please nobody tell him where Troy Tulowitzki used to play, OK?
