The Yankees activated LHP Wandy Peralta from the 10-day IL on Sunday prior to game one of their doubleheader with the Mets.

Peralta went on the IL on June 26 with a back injury. The 29-year-old reliever is 3-2 with a 5.32 ERA over 30 games and 23.2 IP.

Manager Aaron Boone said that Peralta had been dealing with the back issue for a couple of days, and that's why he was put on the IL.

He last pitched on June 18 against the Oakland A's and earned a loss, allowing three runs on three hits with just one strikeout in 1.1 IP.
