Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West senior wide receiver recruit Alec Pierce (6-foot-3, 191 pounds) and the Hilltoppers are coming off a big win last Friday over Lyons Township (5-1). Pierce discusses his season so far along with his latest recruiting news in this update.
"We really are playing well lately," Pierce said. "We needed to make some adjustments after the first game and we moved a few kids around to defense. I'm also playing some outside linebacker along with playing receiver and it's been going pretty well."
Pierce also filled us in on his latest recruiting news this fall.
"I was able to watch a game at Northwestern when they played Bowling Green. I'm also going to try to get out to Illinois for a game later this fall. Getting out to make visits has been hard because we play all of our home games on Saturday. I still stay in touch with the coaches from Illinois, Northwestern, Minnesota, Iowa. Purdue and Wisconsin along with several other schools who've offered me already."
So what's next for Pierce?
"I'm still planning to wait until after the season. I'll look at all of my offers and options once the season ends and I'll sort everything out. I'm just focused now on my team, school and the rest of the season."
Alec Pierce has multiple scholarship offers.
