FRANK SCHWAB: Welcome to "Yahoo Sportsbook Daily." It is Monday, November 1. And I am your betting guide for Monday Night Football, Frank Schwab. Before we get to Monday night's game though, let's go over a couple really, really bad beats from our football weekend past. Hopefully, we can bury those.

In the NFL, if you have the Rams minus 16 and 1/2, you felt great after three quarters. They dominated this game. The Texans weren't moving the ball at all. It was 38-0.

Your local affiliates, if they have this game up, probably switched to another one like they did on me here in Denver. And you just didn't even think about that game, right? You've covered the Rams minus 16 and 1/2. And somehow, someway Davis Mills, who had done nothing-- Texans quarterback-- he had done nothing for the first three quarters somehow rallies Houston to 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. The Texans lose 38-22 and somehow cover 16 and 1/2 points.

This is a miserable beat because it was the right side all day. The Rams were great. They were just pounding the Texans. Again, 38-0 after three quarters. You don't expect them to not cover 16 and 1/2, but that's what happened.

But if you had Saturday's bad beat and it was one of the worst bad beats of all time, then nothing else. You were just numb to the experience on Sunday because nothing can hurt you after what Clemson did against Florida State. You're just trying to flush this out of your mind forever because this was just awful.

We've seen it before-- the old lateral play. Clemson's up by 4 on Florida State. And Florida State? They're just trying to score to win the game, right? So they start the lateral plate.

They're throwing it backwards. At any number of points in this play, it could have been dead. Somebody could have gotten tackled or anything. Anything could have happened to stop this play, but the laterals keep going, and going, and going.

And finally, Clemson catches its break. Florida State overthrows the lateral near the goal line, and Clemson still barely scores on the play. They gather it. They scoop it. They barely get across the goal line. So Clemson covers the 9 and 1/2.

Florida State fans who had plus 9 and 1/2 are just devastated at this point and also the over. The over 46 and 1/2 hit. So if you had the under 46 and 1/2 and you also somehow had Florida State plus 9 and 1/2, my condolences because that's the worst beat ever. You either had either side of that.

It's awful. It's terrible. You're gonna remember that for many, many years. You're scarred by that experience. I'm sorry, but the good news is we have other games. And hopefully, there's gonna be no harrowing bad beat like that in the Monday Night game.

The New York Giants against the Kansas City Chiefs. All know the Chiefs issues coming into this game. The Chiefs are 10-point favorites here, and I like the Giants. Here's why. It's pretty simple.

The Chiefs can't stop anybody. And when you can't stop anybody on defense, I don't like laying 10 points. Look, I know the Kansas City Chiefs can score. They still have the stars. There's still Tyreek Hill, still Travis Kelce. Patrick Mahomes is playing well when he's not turning the ball over, but he is turning the ball over. And that's another factor with this minus 10.

As we know by now going back a full calendar year, the Chiefs have not covered many spreads. Overvalued in the Market week after week and I think this is another example of a team catching way too many points. The Giants are not a good team. I'm not trying to argue that.

This is not necessarily a play on for the Giants, but it is a fate of the Chiefs because we've seen them time after time not be able to cover these big spreads. I just don't trust them minus 10. I'm gonna go with the over 52 and 1/2 too, and it always feels square to take a really high over, especially in a primetime game. But I don't know how either of these teams stop anybody.

I think the Giants are gonna want to throw the ball often against this Chiefs defense. That's their weakness. They're not exactly gonna try to establish Devontae Booker and win the game that way. And I do think the Chiefs are going to be able to move the ball. They always do. They're gonna get their points. The Giants are gonna get theirs too, and I think the Giants are going to keep it within the 10 points.

Let's go to a couple of props I like, and they're Daniel Jones related. Hey, if you got Daniel Jones in fantasy, you should be playing him this week because he might have a monster game. He's already had a couple of good games. He's been a little underrated that way.

He's inconsistent, but there are some spike games. And that's why I like Daniel Jones over passing yardage at 242 and 1/2. That seems criminally low to me. Because if you just think of the game script, again, the Giants are trying to establish the run here.

They're going to be passing whether it's a close game. They're gonna be passing whether they're down 20 points. It doesn't matter. Daniel Jones is gonna get a lot of passes of this game for a lot of yards, and I also like Jones over 21 and 1/2 rushing yards.

By now, we've seen he's an athletic dude, and he can get out of the pocket. He can run. Even just one run from him gets you over that 21 and 1/2. That's why I really like that.

And I'll give you one bonus one too for those of you who like those first TD props. Darius Slayton at 28 to 1. Look, he's the only bankable guy the New York Giants have in their receiving corps right now. Kadarius Toney might play. Sterling Shepard might play, but they've been banged up.

Darius Slayton's the one guy, the one constant here, the one healthy asset. I think Darius Slayton has a chance to score, has a chance to score first. And 28 to 1 odds? You could make your whole week on Monday Night if Slayton gets that first touchdown.

So let's recap. Got the Giants plus 10. Got the over 52 and 1/2. I think this will be a shootout like we expect. Daniel Jones over 242 and 1/2 passing guards, over 21 and 1/2 rushing yards. And be sure to get at least a little bit on Darius Slayton at 28 to 1 because that could really be a fun one.
