WELLINGTON — A 78-year-old Wellington woman died Sunday, six days after she sustained injuries in a crash just south of the Mall at Wellington Green, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said late Sunday.

Roseanne Schuck died at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where paramedics took her after the Nov. 29 crash at Stribling Way and Castellina Way, according to a PBSO crash report.

The report said Schuck was westbound on Stribling in a Mazda 3 just after 12:30 p.m. when she tried to make a U-turn at Castellina. The maneuver turned her sedan into the path of a westbound Ford Mustang, and the front ends of the vehicles crashed.

Paramedics took Schuck to St. Mary's with life-threatening injuries, PBSO said. The Mustang driver sustained minor injuries.

PBSO's report does not indicate that the Mustang driver is facing charges in the wreck.

The report said both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. It does not say how fast the vehicles were traveling when their cars collided.
