Magic Johnson, a part owner of the Sparks, took to Twitter to thank Candace Parker for her impact on the team, and the Los Angeles community. After 12 seasons, the former Tennessee Lady Vols star signed a free agent deal with Chicago Sky. "You're quoted for saying that you want to leave the game better than when you entered it and I can say without a doubt that you, Candace Parker, are leaving the Los Angeles Sparks and the Los Angeles community better than when you joined us," Johnson wrote.
