The Boston Celtics play the Washington Wizards on Sunday, Feb. 14, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 1 p.m. ET and can be seen on NBA TV. The Celtics have been bouncing back between wins and losses almost without regard to the quality of their opponent as they slowly work their way back to full health. On the other side of the court, the Wizards are simply looking for a win with seven of their last 10 games being losses.

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: – 6.5

  • Money line: 1.34/ 3.35

  • Over-under: 231.5

Advice and prediction

The Celtics will have Kemba Walker after taking the night off against the Pistons as part of his injury management strategy, and the team will be extra motivated to save face after the demoralizing loss to Detroit on their home court. This should be an win for Boston so long as the trend with matinee games doesn’t override their wide talent margin, but with a – 6.5 spread, it may be wise to take the Wizards given the trend of sleepy Sunday starts.

Prediction: Boston 112, Washington 108
