Bell, 26, played three games for Washington in January, scoring 10 points and bringing in 16 rebounds across 50 minutes on the floor. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the second round of the 2017 draft out of Oregon before being traded to the Golden State Warriors on draft night. Bell has appeared in 157 career games for four different teams, averaging 3.7 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest.

In between stints with the Wizards, Bell played seven games for the G League bubble’s Erie BayHawks. The 6-foot-8, 216-pound big man averaged 17.6 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He now rejoins a Washington frontcourt that includes Robin Lopez, Daniel Gafford, Alex Len and Rui Hachimura.

The move was made possible after the Wizards waived guard Jerome Robinson last week.
