Wisconsin volleyball off to a fast start in 2023

The preseason No. 2 team in the country is off and running in 2023. Wisconsin volleyball started their season in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the 2023 edition of the Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge.

Wisconsin began the year on Friday with a ranked matchup against No. 15 Baylor, and handled the Bears in four sets. Sarah Franklin returned to lead Wisconsin with 13 kills. Devyn Robinson and Anna Smrek are both back as key contributors, and had eight kills apiece in the win.

Today, the Badgers ran over TCU in a three-set victory where they were never put on the back foot.

After a pair of games at Arkansas, the Badgers return home to face Tennessee and will unveil the 2022 Big Ten Championship banner in front of the UW Fieldhouse crowd.
